Open an OrcaWave file – either a data file (.owd or .yml) or a results file (.owr).
You can also open an OrcaWave file from Windows Explorer by dragging and dropping onto the OrcaWave window, or by double-clicking on the file.
If you open a data file, then OrcaWave reads in the data; whereas, if you select a results file, then OrcaWave reads in both the data and the results. To read just the data from a results file, you can use the open data menu item.
Save an OrcaWave file – either a data file (.owd or .yml) or a results file (.owr) – to the currently selected file name. If a file of that name already exists, then it is overwritten.
If calculation results are available, then a results file will be saved. Otherwise a data file will be saved.
This is the same as save but allows you to specify the file name to save to.
When saving data you can choose either the binary file format (.owd) or the text file format (.yml) from the save as type drop down list.
Read the data from an existing data file or results file, replacing the existing model. If a results file is specified, then OrcaWave reads just the data from it, ignoring the results in the file.
