Dongle Information

Stored Information

The information available on the dongle consists of:

• The company to which the dongle is licensed.
• The current access mode of the dongle.
• The number of licences for each of the various Orcina programs.
• A diagnostic code.

Reporting the Dongle Information

To obtain the dongle information perform the following steps:

1. Ensure the dongle is connected to your machine.
2. Run OrcaDongle, and click the 'Report Dongle Information' button.
3. Specify whether you require information about an 'H'-series dongle or an 'N'-series dongle.
4. If an 'N'-series dongle, specify whether it will be found on your local machine or over the network.

The information stored by the dongle will now be displayed. Should an error be reported then please try the Troubleshooting help topic.
