Results: Tables

After the OrcaWave calculation completes, the tables page displays results in spreadsheet format.

The summary sheet is a brief summary of the data you have provided as input to the calculation.
The panel geometry sheet lists the panels for which panel results are available (if the output option for panel pressures or panel velocities is selected on the calculation and output page).
The diagnostics sheet gives information on time spent performing the analysis.

Subsequent sheets give various results from the calculation. Depending on the features of your model and the solve type, results can include:

Hydrostatics
Added mass and damping
Load RAOs
Displacement RAOs
Roll damping
Sea state RAOs
Quadratic loads (i.e. mean drift loads and/or the first constituent of full QTFs)
Potential loads (the second constituent of full QTFs)

Note:

For complex-valued quantities, such as RAOs, the results tables give the amplitude and phase. The phase is a lead at the global origin.

The results are presented in an Excel-compatible spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is read-only. If you wish to modify or extend it you must first export it as described below.

Printing, copying and exporting spreadsheets

To print the spreadsheet click print on the popup menu, but remember that OrcaWave tables are normally quite long and will therefore produce many pages.

You can also transfer the results to other applications by

copy and paste via the Windows clipboard: select the data you require and press CTRL+C
saving to file: choose export from the popup menu to save as Excel format (.xlsx or .xls), comma-separated values (.csv) or as tab-delimited text (.txt)
